Happiness is largely a matter of choice. And it is probably the smartest life choice you can make.Recent studies show that happy people are 35% less likely to die early than unhappy ones!

Below we will look at 10 ways we can rewire our thoughts and minds into allowing ourselves to feel the happiness that we deserve, freeing us to live, love and be happy. The more happier are we ,more we are surrounded by happiness. Its a proven law of attraction by the universe.

1.Stop Complaining:

Throughout the day we find countless things to complain about, the weather, the traffic, the service we got at a restaurant .All this does not make things for us any better than they are.Its just a put a downer on our mood and make us feel unhappy, low and depressed. Our mood is in our hands, we can choose to react to any situation however we want, we can allow ourselves to sucked into a negative state of mind or we can rise above that and be happy despite all that we do not like.Refrain from criticising anything and everything that you don’t understand.Allow people and things to be different, don’t see difference as an excuse to criticise. We all want to be happy, let’s allow ourselves to be happy and lets allow others to be happy.

2.Stop proving yourself to be always right:

Many of us struggle with the even the thought of being wrong and will go as far as falling out with dear friends or loved ones solely for the sake of being right. Letting go of this habit will lead to better relationships for all.Letting the moments and events pass by without proving any thing to your loved ones is the best way to lead a happy and content As wrote  the famous Wayne Dyer  “Would I rather be right or would I rather be kind?” Think about that next time you find yourself struggling.

3.Stop Negativity

Most of the hurdles we face in life are actually ones that we have manifested up in our minds, they are imaginary, unreal and they are what prevent us from moving forward, not our actual circumstances. Being judgmental, jealous, or angry will at some point turn against you. A bad thought can trigger bad speech, just as bad words provoke bad actions. These imaginary hurdles warp our ideas about what we can and cannot do, what is and what is not possible.

An entire sea of water can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you – Goi Nasu

4.Stop blaming .

“Don’t look for someone who will solve all your problems. Look for someone who won’t let you face them alone.” – Unknown

Be responsible for your actions and their outcomes. Taking responsibility gives you a sense of power over your life; blaming your life on circumstances can make you feel powerless.

5. Stop dwelling on the past:
“Learn to appreciate what you have before time makes you appreciate what you had.” – Unknown

Your past is just a story. Everyone has a past – often full of pain, disappointment, missed opportunities, and unfulfilled expectations. No matter what your past looks like, it’s just a story – so don’t let it influence you. Make the present meaningful.

6. Stop resistance to change

Change is always for good.Change will help you make improvements in your life and also the lives of those around you. Every life process entails change. As human beings we often enjoy familiarity and once we become comfortable we become resistant to change.Follow your bliss,  –  embrace it.

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls” Joseph Campbell

7.Stop living your life to other people’s expectations

We spend lot of our time in our life  living as per the expectations of  people around us, trying to fit into social archetypes. How much happier would we be if instead we followed our hearts and did things the way we wanted to do them. We are so busy with pleasing everybody, with living up to other people’s expectations, that  lose control over our  lives. We  forget across the road what makes us happy, what we want, what we  need….and eventually we forget about ourselves. We have  one life – this one right now – we must live it, own it, and especially don’t let other people’s opinions distract us from our path.We are all talented individuals, we all have something to offer, something unique. Each one of us is gifted. We need to nurture our talents and gifts and contribute through doing what we do best, doing what we love, rather than doing what we think is expected of us.

8.Stop Attachment:

Attachments create an atmosphere of fear. You are not reliant on things and allowing yourself to think you are will prevent you from being happy. Its difficult  to implement this in real life but love is what we all need that brings us happiness and not attachments  which come to us from  fear of loss..True love doesn’t lose value over time; it multiplies and comes back to you the more you give it away. Love everyone who you think deserves and needs your love. Love the Earth and the people who have helped you become who you are. Love your own life.Care about those who are happy to see you succeed in life and support you in difficult times. Avoid harsh critiques and make sure these people know how glad you are that they’re a part of your life.

“Love as much as you can from wherever you are.” – Thaddeus Golas

9.Stop excuses:

Sometimes we get into the habit of making excuses for the sake of making excuses. We have all the time, resources and energy that we will ever have. We need to take advantage of our youth, good health, wealth, free time and most of all, our lives while we have them!Instead of growing and working on improving ourselves and our lives, we get stuck, lying to ourselves, using all kind of excuses -excuses what are not real world.

10. Stop on your fears:

Our fears are unfortunately hindrances that we create for ourselves. Imagine all those hindrances had vanished, how would you feel? Close your eyes and imagine that for just a moment. Feel good? Now try living that way.
